This notice explains what information A2Knowledge Inc. ("A2K", "we") collects through this website, a2knowledge.com, including its contact form, and through our email list, and how we use it. A2Knowledge Inc. is responsible for that information and is its controller under data protection laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It covers the website and the email list only. Data that clients process with the A2K platform is governed by each client's agreement with A2K, and how the platform handles that data is described on the Enterprise and Research Program pages.

• Information you send us: When you use our contact form, we receive your name, your work email address, your organization, the topic you choose, and your message. When you email us, we receive your name, your email address, and anything you include in your message. This website has no accounts.
• Email list: If you sign up for our email list, we collect your email address and any other details you choose to give, such as your name and organization, along with the date you signed up.
• Technical information: When you visit, our hosting provider records standard request information, such as your IP address, your browser type, the pages requested, and the time of each request.
• Usage statistics: We use cookieless analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. The analytics do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors.

This website does not set cookies or use tracking or advertising technologies. Our marketing emails may contain standard measurement links and images that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can see which content is useful.

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, to operate and secure the website, and to understand which pages are useful. We use what you send through the contact form only to reply to you and to follow up on your inquiry; sending a message does not add you to our email list. If you join our email list, we use your email address to send you news and updates about A2K. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for this use is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us and in running a secure, useful website. For our email list, our legal basis is your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in keeping professional contacts informed. Where we have a contract with you or your organization, or are taking steps toward one at your request, we also rely on that contract.

We share information only with service providers that run the website and our email on our behalf: Netlify, which hosts the website and receives contact form submissions, which it checks for spam before passing them to us; Google, which provides our email; our email marketing platform; and our analytics provider. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our legal rights or the safety of any person, to our professional advisors, or as part of a sale, merger, or financing of all or part of our business.

You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time, using the link in any email or by emailing us. Unsubscribing does not affect other correspondence with us, such as replies to your inquiries.

We keep contact form messages and email correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship. We keep your email list details until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a record of your email address only so that we do not send you marketing emails again. Request logs and usage statistics are kept by our service providers under their standard retention periods.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this website. No transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us.

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California, you have rights over the personal information we hold about you, subject to conditions set by law:

• Access: to request a copy of your personal information.
• Correction: to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
• Deletion: to have your personal information deleted.
• Restriction: to limit how we use your personal information.

A2K is based in the United States, and information collected through this website is processed in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information is transferred to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses with our service providers.

This website is intended for professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
